The playoffs are drawing near in the NBA season and the West is going to be interesting as to see who slides in the number 8 spot. The surging Suns look to take over Dallas as the 8th seed. Phoenix has 12 games remaining on their schedule and only half of them are against teams with an above .500 record. Dallas also has 12 games remaining in the season and 8 of those opponents have an above .500 record. Dallas holds a 3 game lead over the “Shaqtastic Suns”, but I warn you to not count out the Suns. On April 5 these two teams will meet to play and if the Suns win then the will split the season series at 2-2. It is too bad that Phoenix does not have Amare Stoudemire or else they would be a lock for the playoffs. The Suns will make run into the playoffs to finally get past the Donaghy altercation.
